Jets scream overhead, the air shuddering in the wake of their growls. They swarm from the attack carrier suspended on its colossal turbines far above the city. Smoke from a thousand fires clogs the air. Sirens blare. Screams echo down the street. The ground rumbles. Glass panes vibrate in their frames. A titan roar splits the chaos, as something rears above the city and douses it in shadow.
