Ten minutes. I need just ten minutes to sit down. Take a breath. Let the ringing in my ears subside for a minute. But the attacks are relentless, with the bugs threatening to overwhelm our positions at all hours, expanding ammunition, melting barrels, and draining us of all energy. We’re beginning to bleed. Losing good soldiers to simple, fatigue-induced mistakes. This should be textbook. This should be easy. But they just keep coming.
