The Words

'Do you think your words hold power?'

It's a good question and I'm not sure if it's designed to get an answer from me or to simply judge the colour of my character.

'I think words hold power, yes.'

'But not yours?'

'All words.'

'Written or spoken?'

'Both.'

I am regarded.

'Even evasive and non-committal statements?'

'Especially those. Because you never know which way they will be bent later, or to whose advantage.'
