Each morning the Oracle appeared before her people and spoke a Truth.
The Truth could be analysed, debated, and accepted or refused - but it was always true.
The people lived their lives by the Oracle’s Truths. They were free to do whatever they wanted with the Truth because nothing could change it. It was true.
They became wholly reliant on the Truths. Everyday crowds gathered outside the Oracle’s door.
Until one day she appeared and said, ‘I have nothing else to say.’
