Nothing much happening. Water gurgling in the reeds. Ducks resting their eyes on the banks, gnats buzzing in clouds, and frogs croaking in the shadows. Trouts slither lazily between the pond weeds, their rainbow flanks catching the sun through the muddy water. A heron stands erect on the bank. Crickets sizzle.
Not a human here. No one to disturb the quiet. No one to witness nothing happening. Just the way these critters like it.
