'I got a biscoff biscuit with my flat white, so I think I'll eat it after my chicken panini, as a dessert.'
Marco stares in disbelief at Anton Gravatsi, who sits in the café chair picking over his panini.
'You invented faster-than-light travel and now this is what you spend your days thinking about?' says Marco.
'I think I may also get a brownie after, but then is that ruining the point of the biscuit? Double dessert?'
Marco can't believe it.
'You're what? Fifty? There's so much more that you could be doing.'
'Mm, you know, I don't know what they do to the coffee here but it's great.'
'You could be making FTL even faster. Safer. You made billions, but you could make trillions on new patents. Even just a few consultation jobs would make more than most engineers could dream of making in a lifetime.'
Anton finally looks up from his meal. 'Ah, but son, I have all I need before me.'
