A dozen long black vehicles, the coffins on their flat back ablaze. Gouts of black smoke pour into the sky as the procession makes its grim progress through the city.
Crowds line the streets, cloths to their faces to stop them choking on the ash, their heads bowed in reverence. A sombre welcome for the returning heroes.
