A blizzard of lights, infrared to ultraviolet, scanning across sweat slickened skin, pulsing with the kiss of hi hats and the sharp crack of kick. Blood surges with lightning, chemical ecstasy smashing fantasy into reality, and the biological frame strains to keep up with the mind flung through space and time. All wear masks, turning their faces into animals. A wolf pours the shots. A tiger pulls a rabbit closer. A monkey dances alone. And in our midst is a killer, wearing the face of a man.
