Ten years it'll take this lumber to dry. Ten. It's going to sit burning money until then. A long time for a return. The world will change in that time. Lumber might not mean the same to people then as it does now. It might be a luxury. It might be a pariah. Maybe both. Who can say? But it's been cut now and there's no putting it back.
