‘Thirty seconds.’
I walk up to the building and lodge a chisel in the seal of the window. Broad daylight. Lots of people around, but no one says anything. They don’t have the time or inclination. People only say something if they get scared and they only get scared if there’s something loud or flashy. I’m just a man climbing through a window.
The safe we don’t bother to crack. We just take the safe, with a little help of the pulley we thread through the open window.
And just like that we’re out, safe dragging on the street behind us until it's in the van.
In and out. Simple.
