As the journeyers departed one by one, the setting sun looked on with mild pride. The land, too, felt it had some part of this. What creatures we have made, mused the sun. They clatter into one another like raindrops in a storm. They thunder into catastrophe. The fallout leaves them devastated at times. They open themselves up to abject misery and terror. Yet, somehow, they keep finding their way back to joy. In that pursuit, they are as relentless as all the fundamental forces of the cosmos.
