A spider web of gossamer metal strands interlock and weave to form the mechanism of a watch set in a brittle cocoon of glass. One tiny movement and the whole thing breaks apart. The time it keeps is perfect. There is no finer measurement. But because of its sedentary nature, it often goes unused. Thus it reveals the true nature of time; it is not something we go to, an inherent law of the universe, but a thing we bring to us, to understand the moments that fall at our feet.
