The stars are the same. The constellations are different, at this angle. Not changed, because from home they are still the same, but from where I’m standing, I can no longer make out their familiar patterns. And I have to wonder, who else is looking up at those same points of light, our two perspectives intersecting and a formless, third line joining us together. I’ll take a bearing now and, in time, I will find you.
