Greed, wrath, envy - so many feelings belie the travesties of humankind, cushioned in so many rationales and ideologies, and yet what is so often unsaid is the choices we make every moment of our lives. Inexorable forces gather like mist, opaque but immaterial, not able to withstand a moment of running against the grain - if you choose it, which few of us do. It could be cowardice, if you still value horsemanship and land tracts, or it could just be self preservation. Dark deeds stain like ink blots on paper, and those that fly above the horrors of the world appear to all as pristine and white as the day they were born - but you say very little with a blank sheet.
