When his head and his heart are so clogged with darkness, a magnetism forms between them, hoping to draw them close, so they might expel the excess weight together. That’s what causes his jaw to rest against his chest. His neck overburdened with the saturation of thoughts that stuff his bloated mind. The rest of his muscles shut down. Energy must be conserved for the exorcism. It’s a shame it's never coming. A simple hope, one of freedom, dangled like a carrot before him. There is no string leading out of this maze. He must first see that he is not just the hero, but the minotaur also.
