They lie, pleasantly drunk and stuffed on good tapas, absorbing the last of the sun. Birds sing in the steetside trees. People sit reading on benches.
'What do you want to do when you're older?' he asks her.
She takes his hand in hers and says, 'Whatever it takes to see the world with you.'
'Again,' he chuckles.
Been asking each other that for sixty odd years now.
