‘Where’s the love in all this?’ she says, hacking through the fungal vines of the cave.
‘What?’
‘Just, seems a bit pointless is all. All this questing about, digging through ancient tombs, fighting new evils. No point if there’s nothing good to live for. So where’s the love?’
He regards her, as she cuts through to the other side. ‘Where indeed?’
